We’re raising funding to bring The Brain Break to life.

The brain break at afrotech

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected as an official AfroTech Event Partner to bring Brain Break, a wellness space focused on enhancing attendee well-being, to Houston on November 4, 2026! This community event will provide an opportunity for guests to pause, reset, and reconnect. As part of our Bay Area event production team, we are currently raising funding to help cover the production costs for this unique experiential marketing initiative.

Overview

Solid Grounds specializes in Bay Area event production, managing end-to-end production of luxe, culture-forward experiences. We design and oversee community events and bespoke activations that foster authentic connections with your brand and campaign. Our expertise lies in experiential marketing, collaborative partnerships, community engagement, and creating intentional spaces that promote wellness. 


We build events in the Bay Area using collaborative partnerships to create an ecosystem where brands can connect with underrepresented creatives, professionals, and experts in an innovative way.

Who We Are

Social Architect Taylor Nanz is the host and Founder of Solid Grounds, passionately connecting people through intentional experiences. With a robust background in Employment Brand, Recruiting, and Marketing, spanning eight years at various tech enterprises, along with three years of hands-on experience in Bay Area event production, she possesses the expertise necessary to enhance brand awareness and create inclusive experiential marketing campaigns for both startups and Fortune 500 companies. 


Having hosted over 100+ curated community events—including festivals, markets, brand activations, and exhibitions—Taylor focuses on community, culture, and intentional design. She has also managed the digital marketing strategy for multiple brands. If you're seeking professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and creative approaches to event production and wellness-focused experiences, you’re in the right place!
